We spent two nights on Vancouver Island, you take the Ferry over, a 1.5 hour trip, or if you are on the old ferry, 2 hours. $27.00 for the car, $8.50 per adult and $4.50 per child,,,,,,,,,see the Cook Strait is the most expensive stretch of waterway in the world!

The day we left, we very nearly took the ferry to Victoria, which is the capital of B.C., this ferry run over an old bloke and his 34' launch cutting in it two and killing him and his wife! Weren't we the lucky ones!
