Pleasant Hill ~ Treptow Family ~ Cemetery
The Pleasant Hill Cemetery is apart of now Henry Township ( previously known as Garfield Twp. ) and Treptow Family History.  According to compiled information by the Kingsley Cenntenial Book Commitee this cemetery was astablished due to the  Elders of the Trinity Luthern Church wouldn't allow burial of Wilhem due to he was not a member of the church.  So in turn  Wilhem's family donated a part of there homestead for what is now the small county cemetery they named as Pleasant Hill.  If you visit the 1920 map , lookover the southwest corner  section 17 you will find that the location of this long living, inacative, beautifully cared for cemetery.  It is on the corner of C-44 and Tamarack St.  which is about 1 mile west of the Cherokee County line.
