The piece has appeared during two occasions: first during the Interparishal Encounter of Culture Amagua�a 2000 (the17 of June 2000) and later in the San Francisco Plaza (02 of September 2000) when General Paco Moncayo received the Popular Command Baton after winning the elections for the Mayorship of Quito.
1500 ancestral dancers of the Rural Parishes of Quito participated. The fifty principal actors belong to the popular sectors of the present Ecuadorian society. Basically they are masons, tailors, workers, craftsmen, professors of Schools and students.
