THE YEAR IN REVIEW - 2008
TYRANT: Australian metal act, TYRANT - have almost completed recording of their latest CD, which is to be
titled,
"Save The Devil" at Izaneer Studios in Tasmania.

The new CD is produced by Brett Collidge (ROADKILL, 17 HERTZ, SOLAR THORN among others) -
and will be 5 track 'EP' containing the following songs:
On The Road To Hell, Fire In The Sky, Devil Woman,
Defenders Of The Faith
and Running From The Law.  The CD will now be released in March 2010.

The last 2 tunes, are currently in 'demo version' on the bands' my space page. The "Save The Devil" CD
will also celebrate 25 years from the TYRANT's debut recording released way back in 1984 titled,
"Never Too Loud".

The new songs
contain that typical TYRANT crunch, albeit with a far more modern and heavier sound -
similar in style to the bands' last studio CD,
"Thunder Down Under" - released in 2003.  Vocalist, Neil Steel (who also fronts hard rockers ROADKILL ) has now almost fully recovered from his 'head on' car crash in Aug. 2008 with TYRANT recently re-commencing the recording process. Info:www.myspace.com/tyrantaustralia

CINDERELLA: One of the finest hard rock bands, ever from the US, (in our humble opinion) CINDERELLA - have signed a deal with Frontier Records for the European release, "Live at the Mohegan Sun" album on November 6. 2009.

Featuring the all original line-up of Tom Keifer (vocals, guitar), Eric Brittingham (bass), Jeff LaBar (guitar) and Fred Coury (drums), the show was recorded during the VH1 sponsored Rock Never Stops package tour, which Cinderella headlined, supported by Ratt, Quiet Riot and Firehouse. The concert was held in Uncasville, Connecticut on July 21, 2005 is now officially and integrally released in Europe as an appetizer to the ultimate live return of the band on the European soil, which is planned for the year 2010!

Formed in Philadelphia in 1983 by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham, Cinderella started playing original material in clubs in the US, enter Jon Bon Jovi - who saw a gig and alerted his record company. Almost immediately the band was signed. Cinderella's debut album,
Night Songs (1986) sold 3 million units, with 3 singles - 'Shake Me', 'Nobody's Fool' and 'Somebody Save Me' - (all true 'classics - by the way! - Ed.  Fred Coury replaced Cortez prior to the release of Night Songs and the band has remained unchanged since.

In 1988 Cinderella released their 2nd album,
Long Cold Winter(1988) and again sold in excess of 3 million copies. Two video/singles, 'Gypsy Road' and 'Don't Know What You Got ('Til Its Gone)' became fan favourites. Their 3rd album, Heartbreak Station (1990) was a change in musical direction, more influenced by Keifer's love of the blues. Cinderella released their 'highly underated' 4th album in 1994 titled, "Still Climbing" - which saw a return to their harder edged sound. Cinderella disbanded in 1995.

A faithful fan base supported the continued road work by the band, which reunited again in the summer of 2000 for a tour with Poison, followed by a second outing by the two groups in 2002 and regular live activity until 2006 which will be finally resumed during next year. Get ready for the return of Cinderella!

Final track listing of
Live at the Mohegan Sun includes: Intro; Night Songs; The Last Mile; Somebody Save Me; Heartbreak Station; Coming Home; Shelter Me; Nobody's Fool; Gypsy Road; Don't Know What You Got ('Till It's Gone); Shake Me; Fallin' Apart At The Seams*; Push Push*; Still Climbing*. (*) Bonus Tracks available on the first pressing in digipak!
