Kilcar is situated in Southwest Donegal. It is located seven (7) miles west of
Ireland's largest fishing port, Killybegs. It is a small mountainous Parish with about 1500
people living there. There are lots of small farms in Kilcar, consisting of sheep and
cattle. Its main Industry is in the making of Yarn and Tweed.
The area boasts panoramic sea views, safe sandy beaches and a coast road that allows you
to enjoy some great views of the Atlantic Ocean.
It has a number of fishing rivers and lakes and numerous places of historic interest.
