TAXIS When you need to get about and you don't have a car or you don't want to drive, there is a good choice of taxis with in the area. All offer very competitive rates.

Summer Festival.

 There is actually two festivals held during the summer months. The first is The Sea-Angling Festival and is always on the last weekend of July. This is a great competition and attracts international competitors.There is also great prizes. Pre-booking is essential for this competition.
The second festival is known as 'The Street Festival' and is always held on the first week of August. This includes street events for children, which normally start around 6:00pm. These would include sports such as the egg + spoon race, three legged race, slow bike race, assault coarse. Later there is activities in the pubs for adults. Then to round it all off there's usually bands playing outdoors each night, staring around midnight.

Creche.

 T�r n� �g is the new creche available in Kilcar. It is ran by Teresa McShane who is qualified childminder. This is an excellent place to leave your kids when you want a break from them. Hourly, daily and weekly rates available.
