There are many activities you can do while in Kilcar. There is something for all age groups. This

If you are intressed in horses then the Little Acorn Farm is the place for you. They have a good
range of activities including, hacking, trekking, trail riding and pony rides. There is also a

Boat Trips.
For a good deal on boat trips Paddy 'Murdock' Byrne is your man. Whether it is only to see the
sights or for fishing Paddy will look after you. Fishing rods and life jackets provided. Hourly
or daily rates quoted.

Mountain Walking.
As I said before Kilcar is a mountainous parish, so you have a great choice. From nice little
hills, or for the more adventurous Croagh Muckross and Slieve League the highest sea cliff in
Europe.
Beaches.
Kilcar offers two beautiful beaches, Port a'Chabhlaigh and Muckross. Theses are sheltered,
sandy, bathing beaches, the perfect place to relax.
Jetsking.
Jetsking is available at Port a'Chabhlaigh during the summer months.Beginners welcome.
Mountain Biking.
Mountain bikes are available D�n Ul�n Hostel. They will also provide you with maps
showing you the best country lanes and tracks to take.
Community Center.
This is a new building at the bottom of the town. It will be completed by June 2000. When it is
finished it will have the biggest playing court in Co. Donegal. It will be used for a variety of
sports including football, basketball, netball, tennis and bowls. The court will be rented on an
hourly basis to intressed individuals or groups.
The center will also have a weights room, computer room, and a small cinema.
