DON'T QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
and you want to smile, but have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don't you quit

Life is queer with it's twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many a person turns about
When they might have won had they stuck it out
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
you may succeed with another blow

Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captered the victor's cup
And he learned too late
When the night came down
How close he was to the golden crown

Success is failure turned inside out
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit

CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY LIVE

If a child learns with CRITICISM
He or she learns to CONDEMN

If a child learns with HOSTILITY
He learns to FIGHT

If a child learns to RIDICULE
He learns to be SHY

If a child lives in SHAME
He learns to feel GUILTY

If a child lives in TOLERANCE
He learns to be PATIENT

If a child lives with ENCOURAGEMENT
He learns CONFIDENCE

If a child lives with PRAISE
He learns to APPRECIATE

If a child lives with FAIRNESS
He learns JUSTICE

If a child lives with SECURITY
He learns to have FAITH

If a child lives with APPROVAL
He learns to like HIMSELF

Good...WELL DONE

If a child lives with ACCEPTANCE AND FRIENDSHIP
He learns to find LOVE IN THE WORLD

How many children do you know?

WHEN WILL I BE THIN

While standing in the locker room
After training at the gym
My girlfriend turned and said to me
"Oh, when will I be thin?"

I said to her, "You're gorgeous!
There's more to life than looks
A woman with a soul on fire
Is one who really cooks!"

When you're feeling kinda funky
And your chin's a little low
Just use this little motto
Here's the way it goes :

Though our perky breasts may fall
And our youthful skin may wrinkle,
What we have within our souls
Is an everlasting twinkle!

So never doubt you're beautiful,
Don't ever question that
Cause a soulful woman's gorgeous
Though her thighs are fat

So don't give up the truffles
If they're your hearts delight
Just jog an extra mile
While you twinkle in Natures light

AN EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure that she carries,
or the way she combs her hair

The beauty of a woman must be seen within her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides

The beauty of a woman is not a facial mole

But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul,
it is caring that she lovingly gives,
the passion that she shows.
And the beauty of a woman with passing years
only grows

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you phsically, emotionally, or spiritually.

They may seem like a godsent, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand.
What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent out has been answered and it is now time to move on.

Believe it ! It is real ! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
