The Fabulous Fifteen (Or at least there used to be fifteen)
In the Beginning: Ok, OK, so a long, long time ago, in a junior high school kinda far away, there were three girls (giggle, giggle) and to prevent fights they divided their favourite actors up evenly and fairly (ok, so it wasn't quite even and fair) so they wouldn't have to share. From that decision arose the fabulous fifteen (formerly numbering about twenty but pared down considerably later on). And so, I give you my most favouritest actors of all time, a constantly changing list of the greatest guys on earth!
John Haymes Newton: This is one of the originals, people. I first saw him in the Untouchables series. He played my favourite character, Tony Pagano. Also in: Melrose Place (sad but true), Alive (he doesn't get eaten)
Orlando Bloom: Never heard of him until I saw Lord of the Rings. He plays Legolas, the elf archer, and looks very different without that long blonde hair (but still very good, I must say). He's a very new addition, but a very welcome one. Also in: Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy
Eric Close: I first saw him in The Magnificent Seven TV series, as the sharpshooter/tracker, ex-bounty hunter, now wanted man, Vin Tanner Also in: Without a Trace (now playing!), Spielberg's Taken, small role in the Prometheus episode of MacGyver
Tom Cruise: Let's face it, almost everyone likes him! I love him in Interview with a Vampire (it made Lestat my fav character) and in Legend. MI and MI:2 are pretty good too. He's one of the first and will likely never get cut. Also in: Top Gun
ONLY 13 UP SO FAR!!!
John Schnieder: Well, he has been around a while, but he still looks good!. First saw him as Bo Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard. Lately he's been seen on Smallville, playing Clark Kent's father. That's right, he's Superman's dad! Also in: Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman
Heath Ledger: Ok, you probably know him from A Knight's Tale, but I saw him first!!! This babelicious hunk starred in a show called Roar that I absolutely loved, all, like, five episodes that I saw. Also in: 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot
Zen Gesner: Sinbad, yet another show that I loved and they took off. I'm getting really tired of them you know! Well, anyway, Zen was Sinbad and as much as I liked him better as a character in the first season, I can't complain about those tight leather pants they had him in during the second!
Honourable Mentions Well, the honourable mentions include some guys who are pretty babelicious in their own right but who, for one reason or another, did not make on to my Favourites list.
For playing a damn fine Arab hotty in the Mummy movies:Oded Fehr With that hair and those tattoos, that voice and those horses, what more could you want? My room-mate and I have watched The Mummy and The Mummy 2 a lot. We've both agreed that Ardeth Bay has several brothers some where who look exactly like him so we don't have to fight over him. This arrangement works fine for me, she could whip my butt.
For showing off a fine set of abs and pecs in Tomb Raider as Alex West: Daniel Craig This is another movie we've watched a few times. Honestly, I just like from about the shower scene onward. What a body!
For playing Vin's best friend in Mag7 and for showing his bucknaked body off to the world in Terminator: Michael Biehn Chris is my second favourite character in The Magnificent Seven, mainly because of the relationship between him and Vin. He also looks damn fine falling out of the sky bare naked in The Terminator. I have, however, generously given him to my roomy, because she's bigger than I am and I'm scared of her.

For breaking my heart with his voice in Moulin Rouge: Ewan McGregor I didn't know he could sing! Boy oh boy, does he have a voice. And the fact that he's Obi Wan Kenobi certainly helps. But lose the beard damn it!
Sean Patrick Flannery: OK, so I'm a really big Indiana Jones fan and even though I know that Harrison Ford is the only real Indie, SPF comes pretty darn close. And I absolutely love the jazz movie! But if fun, adventure and a bit of history aren't your thing, he's . . . Also in: Powder, Simply Irresistible.
Dean O'Gorman: In both the old Herc series and the young Herc series, Iolaus is my fav character. Having someone like Dean play him just makes it better.
Forbes March: Mutant X being my new fav show means I have a new guy that plays my fav character. Jesse Kilmartin is that fav character and Forbes March is that new guy. Not sure whether I like the scruff in the second season though.
For being Largo's best friend and so darn cute to boot: Simon?? I had this brief fling with Largo Winch during the summer and fell for that undetermined accent of his best bud, Simon. I don't know the actor's name off hand (Diego something?) but I do know I''d like to have him for a best friend!
If Only They Were Human So, every once in a while, there comes a long a really cute cartoon. Now, I'm not talking like baby cute or puppy-dog cute, but, like, jumpable cute - if only they were human
What is it with long blonde hair? Allen Schezar
Brooding baddie? Lord Folken
Part of the Bat Family Nightwing - AKA Dick Grayson
Are you sure he's related to Vegeta? Trunks
For being the indominale Strider (aka Aragorn, Estel, Elessar, etc): Viggo Mortenssen (did I just spell that right?) Yes, it's another Lord of the Rings reference. Even though I don't go for the scruffy type (see Orlando Bloom, above, or Haldir, below), I place him here to appease my roomy, who has a thing for tall, dark and hansome.
For insulting the dwarf so righteously in the first movie and dying so well in the second: Craig Parker And again, it's another Lord of the Rings reference. This time it's one of the Galadhrim of Lothlorien. Ah, Haldir, why did they have to kill you off?
A hunter of witches. . . . Amon
Chris O'Donnell: Alright, alright, so I'm a big Robin fan. Chris plays Dick Grayson AKA Robin in both Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. That's how he came to be on my list. He's got beautiful blue eyes and I'm not sorry one bit. Also in: The Three Musketeers (did I mention I'm also a fan of Athos, Prothos, Aramis and D'Artaghnan too?), Circle of Friends, Fried Green Tomatoes (he gets hit by a train)
Stuart Townsendl: As Lestat in Queen of the Damned, I found this lucious babe to be sexy, sensual and irrestibly hunky. As Dorian Gray in League of Extraordinary Gentleman, I found him to be sexy, sensual and irrestibly hunky. Any questions?
For playing Galadriel's equally wise and powerful hubby Celeborn : Marton Csokas So I have a thing for elves, so what? Poor Celeborn, he didn't even have a name until the extended version. Hoping Return of the King shows him leading his army into battle, but not holding my breath. EDIT: Not fighting in ROTK, hoping for the extended edition
For making me actually love a bad wizard : Jason Issacs There's something very delightful about Issacs as Lucius Malfoy in the second Harry Potter movie. Of course he plays an even more evil villian in The Patriot (he killed Heath!). In fact, I think I've only even seen him play a good guy once, in The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan.
Well, well me hearties, welcome to the great pirate ship The Fabulous Fifteen, home to the greatest lookin' pirate crew to ever sail the seven seas. Here ye be findin' a listin' a' some a' them actors what entertain us so richly on the small and big screens. But be forewarned, they're a fine lot of swarthy young men and oft are the cause of much swoonin' in ports across the Spanish Main!
Johnny Depp: Shivery me timbers! I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean the first time to see the irresitible Orlando Bloom. But the second time, it was all about Johnny Depp and his absolutely screen-stealing pirate performance. Savvy? Also in: What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, The Astronaut's Wife, Chocolat (mmm. . . chocolate in french), Sleepy Hollow, Once Upon a Time in Mexico
