The Tin-Can-II. This cycle is set up so it can be used as a conventional cycle, suitable for town use, but which can also then be 'broken' up into sections, allowing for easy storage and transporting in, say, a car boot. There is no single term for this type of cycle design, with names like 'detachable', 'separable' and 'demountable' all having their advocates.

Based on a Raleigh 20 frame, the Tin-Can-II is the creation of Mike Toohey of Rangiora. More details anon . . .
