As if the rest of the site didn't provide sufficient space for expression of my addled thoughts, here we have a blog of what's running through my mind and out into the web world.

I like to take photos of stuff I like.

I also like to alter the images once I have them.

I recently bought a digital camera and I play around with Photoshop.

This amuses me, let's see if it amuses you!


The background shot, by the by, is an unaltered digital shot I took from the parking lot at work.

Who knew the sunset over the old Chicago stockyards could be so pretty?

Sometimes it still smells bad, a slight percentage of what misery it used to be, I'm sure, oh, but the view!

Oddly enough, I am "technically" a trained reviewer, as I have a degree (BA) in Film Theory & Criticism, a trained Ebert am I. So says the paper in the folder in my office just behind me.

You'll have to read what I say about restaurants, plays, musical performances and, oh yes, movies to decide if I'm any good.

I do art.

I draw and paint on paper, lucite (picture frames), glass, metal, foamcore, even on plywood.

Now I draw on the computer.

I now make movies.

Imagine that.

Actually, I've been making movies on and off (mostly off) since age 4.

Well, that's how old my folks say I was.

It was a typical child exploitation piece.
Parents buy camera, point at child, Viola!
What can I say, I was warped at an early age.

The more therapy, the earlier the warping is found.
