Here we have
a glimpse of trolleys on the road. We're somewhere in central Illinois,
on our way home. This image is a rollover, the original is "behind".
I realized that with these images I was mostly removing the effect of
the tinted windows only when I was showing them to a fellow driver. Isn't
that funny?
We flew to Kansas City, KS to pick up trolleys and drove to St. Louis, Mo to pick up one more. We spent the night just over the Mississippi river in Illinois and made it home to the trolley barn by 3pm. Not bad for big rolling boxes! |

This is Missouri
limestone, I guess I have a thing for sedimentary rock. Again, I unconsciously
worked to remove the effect of the tinted windows. Yes, I am in motion.
Yes, this is a sideways shot. Yes, I was watching the road infront of
me. Do you really need to look to the left to point the camera
at a broad landscape? Nope, I have found that for general shots like this,
it's just fine. You should see my videos!

At right you
see Calder's Flamingo. Roll over the image with your mouse to see the original
shot.
This ended up, after a lot of work in Photoshop, being an idealized version of itself. I really like it, it's bolder and stronger looking than the real thing in person. Well, I think so. |

This was taken
in New Mexico, going THE SPEED LIMIT, which means about 70 mph.
Roll your cursor over the image to see the "doctored" version of the image. I've cropped it down and cleaned it up. |
