Recruitment & Applicant Screening

Cut the costs of advertising as well as staff time spent reviewing unqualified applications. WIETS will refer, at no cost, qualified applicants from our clientele according to the standards you set.

WIETS provides thorough applicant screening so you can spend your time interviewing only qualified persons for the job opening. Every candidate is tested and assessed by WIETS vocational counselors to determine education level and qualifications before being referred to your office.

Training & Outplacement Services

WIETS can help train your current employees and also prepare any incoming staff in job readiness training. In addition to employer-specific training initiatives, WIETS assists our job-seeker clients in ongoing education, technical and vocational skills-building.

Employer-based training and outplacement services can include training in skills deemed necessary to prepare candidates to enter your company or re-enter the workforce.

  WIETS is also a provider of IMPACT (Indiana Manpower Placement and Comprehensive Training) services in Clay, Parke and Putnam counties. Financial Assistance

When WIETS clients are selected to fill a job opening, your business can be reimbursed up to 50% of the new trainee's salary while they learn skills for the job. Simply determine, with us, the amount of training needed - usually 30 to 90 working days.

WIETS also engages in fee for services contracts with area employers, such as administering employment testing.

WIETS not only has worked with unemployed and underemployed but with dislocated workers as well. Major outplacement projects have taken place with J.I.Case, Alcan Aluminum, Chesty Foods, Pillsbury Corporation, Amax and Peabody Coal, Donnelley Corporation, International Paper, Hulman & Company and Pitman Moore.
