| The Prometheus is the newest Federation ship. It is definately a war ship that was designed for the Borg threat and Dominion War. The best part about this class is that it has a multi-vector assault mode in which it can split into 3 seperate parts to attack multiple targets. |
| History In 2374 the Prometheus prototype was commisioned to help in the Dominion War and the evergrowing Borg threat. On one of its trial missions the USS Prometheus was hijacked by a group of Romulans. However, the EMH from the USS Voyager teamed up with the EMH 2 from the Prometheus and were able to return the Prometheus back to Federation hands. Though it is unknown whether more were constructed several have been seen in battle groups during the major battles of the last half of the Dominion War. |
