This website has several purposes. It is primarily a punk rocker's guide to the NY scene as it stands today - after all, it's no longer 1977! As you've already read, it is dedicated to Dee Dee Ramone... Dee Dee was a personal friend and I had the privilege of appearing onstage with him on stage several times. You must understand, I wasn't in the Remainz (Dee Dee, Marky, and Barbara) or a regular band member - I was asked to sing the Blitzkrieg Bop with him and his band those times. It was a tremendous thrill - but these stories will be told on a special Dee Dee Ramone page soon. Also, I will (finally) explain my appearance in D's novel Chelsea Horror Hotel therein, as well as in his zine Taking Dope... It's also a news page for punks from all over but primarily New York City, where I play with my band the NY Kretins. Primarily, this site's purpose is to make sure that no one will ever forget the most important musicians of this day and age - Dee Dee Ramone, Cheetah Chrome, Johnny Thunders, Jerry Nolan and Stiv Bators.There's some very important others as well,but this site is for them.
YES!! It's finally time to update this site! Inside you will find amazing Ramones photographs from Germany, courtesy of Lothar Felkel and General Sickler, as well as reviews and photos of Rocket From the Tombs gig here in NYC at the Village Underground, June 6th. Cheetah Chrome was in top form that night! Sorry for the time it took to update the site, but you'll find it's worth it, especially the awesome photos that you will see... unseen by many Ramones fans, dating from 1978-1989.
