Final Fantasy 7

Okay even though the game is old, you can really get into the story than getting and the game play. To start things out, you start off getting off the train using the main character Cloud with a group of rebellion called Avalanche trying to stop Shinra a corp company that is destroying the planet with its reactors call "Mako Reactors" that sucks the Mako from the planet. As the Avalanche destroyes their reactors, a new threat has emerge to destroy the planet, and his name is Sephorith. The gameplay is long but also keeps you up for more or reveling more of the story like what will happen next and stuff like that.Controls are easy and easy to navigate your character around the world map and regular map. Extremely well soundtrack, it goes well with the background and the mood that the character is in. Their battle system uses the "Mako Crystals" or Materia for short that contains magics, summons, commands, and even powerful power ups.

RinoaFinal Fantasy 8Squall

It is a time of war. Garbadia, a Global Superpower, declares war on Dole, a neighbouring country. In Dole, the training academy of Garden is home to two personalities - the ambitious but hot-headed Seifer and the serious 'lone wolf', Squall Leonhart - both equally at conflict with each other as their own country is with Garbadia. To others, Squall appears aloof and lacking in team spirit, whilst Seifer, a born soldier, lacks the discipline and self-control that is so evident in his rival. However, a chance encounter with the free-spirited Rinoa Heartilly turns Squall's universe upside down; having thrived on discipline, Squall finds Rinoa's carefree attitude fascinating. He also begins to have dreams in which he is Laguna Loire, a soldier from the Garbadian army. In time he will discover that the fate of both himself and the figure in his dreams are inexorably linked.

Meanwhile, a manipulative sorceress continues to guide the hands of the most powerful men in Garbadia. Squall and Seifer are forced to work side by side in a mission to assassinate the sorceress.

YunaFinal Fantasy 10Tidus

In Final Fantasy X, the main character, Tidus, is a star player of blitzball, a full contact sport. After miraculously surviving the destruction of his homeland, he awakens among ruins and thereafter meets a young woman named Yuna. As a summoner, Yuna must travel to distant temples and learn the secret art of summoning aeons-powerful spirits of yore, in order to defeat "Sin." Tidus learns that a thousand years in the past, mankind lived in spectacular cities and relied on machines for everything, until Sin suddenly appeared and destroyed all civilization. Now, people shun technology, and no one knows when "Sin" will strike again. Final Fantasy X features a distinct Asian influence, bringing a fresh feel to the characters, music, settings and story.

Final Fantasy X will also be the first in the series to feature voiceovers for the characters. James Arnold Taylor ("A Moment of Silence") and Hedy Burress ("Valentine") will voice the main characters in the U.S. release of Final Fantasy X. In addition to the game's voiceover dialogue and fluid gameplay-to-full-motion-video transitions, Final Fantasy X offers fully 3D environments that seamlessly integrate real-time movement with battles, allowing yous to walk around and engage in battles on the same field map screen. Life-like, high-polygon, motion-captured characters designed by Tetsuya Nomura (Final Fantasy VII, VIII, Parasite Eve, Parasite Eve 2) bring realism to the screen. As seen in previous Final Fantasy titles, you will be able to enjoy new mini-games, such as mastering the sport of blitzball and the Al Bhed language, plus engage in the all-new "Sphere Grid" battle system.

GarnetFinal Fantasy 9Zidane

Final Fantasy IX is a story about an evil queen's desire to gain world domination, and a group of bandits that try to stop her. Brahne, the queen of Alexandria, is using highly advanced magical weapons to menace neighboring kingdoms. Dispatched by the king of a threatened nation, an intrepid group of bandits sets out to stop the queen from achieving her goal of world domination, only to find that she is merely the cover for a far more sinister plot. A powerful sorcerer named Kuja is the one responsible for supplying Brahne with the magical weapons. What are his goals? Why did he join forces with Brahne? Where do his weapons come from? For the sake of mankind, the answers must be uncovered before Kuja can execute his plan for world destruction.

A gripping storyline, unforgettable cast, unparalleled graphics -sounds like the blueprint for yet another Final Fantasy. Following in the decade-long tradition of the series, Final Fantasy IX debuts with a brand new story and cast. This time however, a request from the fans to return the series to its roots yielded a title that is distinctly different from its recent predecessors. Unlike many other game franchises, Final Fantasy s a constantly evolving series. While no two titles are ever alike, players can be sure that the latest one benefits from what was learned from developing its predecessor. As the last Final Fantasy to appear on the PlayStation, Final Fantasy IX is the heir to over ten years of game development. The result of drawing upon this much experience and history, is a title that blends both the successful elements of the past such as a return to the fantasy roots, with the innovations of the future, such as high quality computer graphics. In the end, Squaresoft is pleased to announce that the result is a title that serves as a fitting conclusion to a decade of RPG excellence.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3

This game is a continuation of the 2001 Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero which gave the player a chance to race against over 500 rivals in the highway of Tokyo. Now in TXR3 you can race in 3 different highways of Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. This time around the gave will a total of 200 miles of actual road model.

With a modern feel of Japan, lets talk about the cars that they have. No more funny names of cars, no more no brand name rims, but this time uses real cars licensed from Japanese, North American, and European car manufacturers.

The game play this time is kind of the same as the last one but you get more ability to customize your vehile and you get a turbo gauage, water temp., and oil temp. gauge. Those are your most important items on the racing screen. The coolest thing that the folks at Genki add was the weather affect. You can have snow/sleet, rain, or clear skies. With the weather in play it can effect your drive technique and the way your car can perform.

Gran Turismo 3

Now as you all know that the Gran Turismo series have been a hit around the world and has sold over 30 million units around the world. Other than that the creator Kazunori Yamauchi owns a $1 billion heritage and lots of known from many motoring companies around the globe.

This time around Yamauchi has recreated and build around using the Playstation 2's engine to make the game as realistic as to real. The game has over 150 cars from 38 manufacturers. With more than 5000 to 6000 polygon into just one car the game's model is incrediable.

As it goes for the gameplay it is just like driving a real car with the new logitech steering wheel. As you start you must first purchase your very first car at the beginning. With only $18,000 I would buy either a Mazda Miata or a Toyota Trueno (AE86 for you Inital D fans) cause those are the only good cars to start with. Now in order to participate in the class races the game requires you to pass a couple of tests (in the range of 8) in order to race in that race. For example in order to race in a rally race you would need a rally license. Same goes for the other classes A, B, C, S. For the the graphics, as I stated above it is incrediable. and as for sound it has a wide selections of music to choose from.

In conclusion this game is worth the $20 as of right now, you can probably find it cheaper used or at a Wal- Mart or something like that. It is fun and sometimes additive if you are really into cars, but other than that you can play it for awhile and wait for the next generation of Grand Turismo; Grand Turismo 4.

Need for Speed Underground

OH boy another game review even though no one really cares but hey its the only thing I can update my site for now so here goes I finally beat this game and well...it's awsome but it could do a better ending though.

With all the parts available to you (not all until you unlock them) can customize almost anything on the ride that you have. From change the ECU fuel management system to the under glow of your car. The coolest feature of the game is that you can customize your own decal and vinyl with unlimited customization. Also the game brings the Japanese style drifting to the game (not down hill drift though) with a whole new concept of play.

As for graphics goes it can match up to any racing that is out right now even Gran Turismo 3. And when you use the NOS it really makes you feel like you are going really fast and gives you the "Need for Speed". But like I've said above if they could make the story much better because in the begining it seems that there was a story involve here but then it just drifts off with you trying to be the fastest and win more and more parts. But other than that this game is a must buy!
