| After the success of Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, a television series was released. This Television series is also known as The Tenchi Universe, Tenchi Muyo on Earth, and the TV series. The TV series retold the story of Tenchi but was not the same as the OAV. In the Tenchi Universe, the characters are the same but the way they met and their relationships with each other are slightly different. It was also geared more toward being entertaining than telling the story from the comic books. Included with the Tenchi Universe was a series of collector's cards. |
