Kenny Chesney Spent my first day on tour with George Strait at the stadium for the Tampa Buccaneers.

Chesnee Hi Kenny!! This is Dianne from East TN. I was wondering what is the very first song you ever wrote??
Kenny Chesney My very first song I ever wrote was about a girl in one of my classes at ETSU, I don't even remember the title.

Chesnee I hear you really got the urge to sing and play while in college, what was it that gave you that itch, so to speak??
Kenny Chesney I just started playing and singing all the time, and there was something about that I loved, so I still do it.

Chesnee how did you get the nickname WEEZ??
Kenny Chesney I can't say!!!

Chesnee Kenny, if you weren't a star, what kind of work do you see yourself doing??
Kenny Chesney I've got my degree in advertising and marketing, so I'd probably be doing something in that.

KCCarrie88 I would like to know what is on the necklace that you wear?
Kenny Chesney I have several, one is a cross, a couple of rocks that I've set that I bought in Cozumel.

Leslie How did you meet your fiance' Mandy?
Kenny Chesney I met her in college. She appears with me in my video, "How Forever Feels."

Leslie I absolutely love your new CD. Do you know what song will be released next?
Kenny Chesney "You Had Me From Hello" is my next single.

Kenny Chesney My favorite one that I've recorded would be "Hillbilly Heaven." Tracy Lawrence and George Jones sang on the single with me.

Chesnee who would you like to tour with, that you haven't already?
Kenny Chesney I've toured with Alabama, George Jones, now I'm on tour with George Strait. It would be cool to do a tour with my friends, Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence and Tracy Byrd.

nancjean Do people all over the world tell you what an impact "That's Why I'm Here" video had on their life? The first time and many times after I cried and cried. Thank you.
Kenny Chesney We've gotten literally thousands of letters how that song has touched people's lives. We get letters all the time.

Stephanie1 Dear Kenny, I'm a big fan of yours and Peyton Manning. What was it like to work with him? And do you plan on working with him again in the future?
Kenny Chesney I don't know if Peyton is going to do a record any time soon, so we'll just continue to be friends.

KChesney16 Hi Kenny, How are you doing? I love the new CD... California is my favoirte song... Will it be a single?
Kenny Chesney We don't know yet, it could be a single later on. It's one of my favorite songs also.

Leslie How has your tour with George Strait been going? I am hoping to see you in Washington, D.C.
Kenny Chesney It's been going incredible. Everyone on the tour is doing really well. It's a lot of fun to watch everyone perform.

Kay what do you do with all the roses you get at your concerts?
Kenny Chesney I keep 'em!

Kenny Chesney Probably "How Forever Feels," it's been a No. 1 record, and it's got a great tempo.

kelley Kenny, How has becoming famous affected your outlook on spirituality and life?
Kenny Chesney It hasn't affected me at all. It's the same. I grew up in the country, I'm a Baptist, and having a hit record has not affected my spirituality.

OKIE_CITY_GAL Is Wyatt Beard still with Kenny as his keyboard player?
Kenny Chesney Yes, he is.

Kenny Chesney Yes, we'll see how many after the first one!

Debby Kenny, are you playing in the celebrity softball game during Fan Fair?
Kenny Chesney I think so, not 100 percent sure, we'll be coming in from the road. I hope to.

Debby Kenny, I know you have to live near Nashville for business purposes, but if you could have a second vacation home anywhere where would it be?
Kenny Chesney It would be in the Caribbean somewhere so I could spend the winters in the sun.

kcgs do you plan on making a video in the Nashville area?
Kenny Chesney I don't know. We did "That's Why I'm Here" in Nashville, and we probably will again.

leah Kenny, I love the new album, every song could be a #1. Baptism is one of my favorites. Do you think you and Randy Travis will ever do a duet of that song together?
Kenny Chesney I don't know, we might. It just depends if we can get our schedules together. It's hard to do that, but I hope to.

MDFan I can't wait to see you in DC on May 15th!!!!! If me and my girlfriends wear a green wig, can we be your backup singers?! hee hee!!
Kenny Chesney Ha-Ha! I wish they could but we can't for security reasons.

MEME i always wanted to be a singer, but i never realized my dream....i wonder if a 46 yr old woman would have a chance in country music????? what do you think?
Kenny Chesney Just keep doing what you're doing and hope for the best.

Chesnee Kenny, I absolutely LOVE "Baptism," I told you at Wal Mart. What inspired you to record it??
Kenny Chesney Well, it was a very country lyric, and it reminded me of the people where I came from.

staaar I have 3 kids, ages 13, 10 and 8. My 2 girls are into music and singing. I bought an acoustic guitar for my 8 year old. Should I get them lessons?
Kenny Chesney It would depend on the kid, if he or she wanted it. But not to force it on them.

Kenny Chesney Yes, most definitely. I buzz it.

Kenny Chesney Yes, I was very excited. Not every song goes to No. 1.

Kenny Chesney Yes,on a greatest hits album we plan to do in the future. It will be one of the first singles.
