This lady was caught on film in a Paris doorway in 1922. I had to enlarge the detail from the photograph to see what she had looked like. She could only be French; she seems very tough and very proud, and she would have had to be to have come through the previous eight years which would have changed her world and life beyond recognition.

I love Paris and I would love to live there in Le Marais, Montparnasse or even Neuilly.
