Kelso's QND Walkthrough

"GO" was activated Sept 5, to the best of my knowledge at lease that is the day I started playing this new phase of QND.

Once again VQC managed to start the game with a little trouble. First there were several delays in the launch, then when it did launch players had to Play a little computer action game. I for one do not play regular computers games I.E. pac man, Asteroids, Mario Brothers,etc. At any rate after complete three different level of GO you were treated with a 3 letter code such as "LMU" or "IED". you were to mail this to virtuquest and wait. [NOTE: the GO game is no longer running on the VQC site :-(]

Well, now once we played the little GO game, we waited, within 24 hours of the GO launch many players from Chapter One recede an email from THEMIS STRIM:

There has been some time since we last communicated. Is this rudeness on
QND's part? No, business goes on as usual here in big "Green". Way back you
assisted us with a rather important issue surrounding key personnel. I have
been pursuing an unusual route here at QND . Can QND use the casual
consumer/websurfers as an additional set of eyes and ears? Get valuable
information and insight? An immediate answer is of course "no". Agent
assignment is not what we are talking about here, rather a select "watchdog"
group that simply informs. Login at QND may take many forms for such a
group. However, as I alluded to, talks are still in discussion.

You can anticipate follow-up from me regarding this in the future. Can you
or would you be interested in such a role? Enter this thought process with
some serious thinking. The answer you arrive at should not be rushed into.
Message after message fills our general email banks with worthless insights
into internet abuses. Log (or capture) your thoughts, think, think, think.
With this type of thought you can be assured of a sound decision.

Renfleno (one of the pioneers here at QND) once said, "let the past not be
what we look forward to". There are many that can quote this, but it is
something I truly use to inspire those around me. Is it meaningful to you?
Another point to ponder, I guess. Leak that phrase into your daily routine
and things WILL happen. From my team to you, thanks again and stay tuned.

From this email we were given the New Agent Messaging password "RENFLENO":

If you take the first word of every sentence you get:

"There is no way I can get an Agent Login, however, you can enter the Message Log with Renfleno. There is another leak from within. Help."

There were I believe 3 different emails sent to possible players all with similar information; Here is one of the others:

You have been identified as a participant/player in an in a "GO-Gram".

Ref: A "Go-Gram"- is not so much a virus as a confidentiality eliminator.
A "Go-gram" requires time to capture key pieces of vital information that
have been stored recently on your local internet server and/or your hard
drive prior to deletion and in some cases, after deletion.

It is our duty at QND to inform you of ceertain rights that mayy
have Been vviolated. Effective March 8, 2003, in accordance with
authorization of the Quantum Network Director of Privacy, iit is
requested that mosst internet-based studdies, games, and surveys
be applied for, approved by, and monitored by thiis goverrning body.
This process willl repllace 215 MI 5/408(9) and is being logged as
215 MI 5/408(10). If the activity you participated in did not state
that it was operating under 215 MI 5/408(10) your rights may have been
violated. Know your rights and be on the alert while participating in
future internet activities.

Let this memo serve as notice for any such future activity.
You are entitled to following background regarding internet-based
studies and games and surveys. As need for privacy security and
confidentiality continue to rise QND will continue to monitor and
uphold rights of individuals. Through thorough investigation and
review the QND will respond quickly and efficiently and compile the
messaging system to communicate with individuals in reference to
questionable activities. Regarding 215 MI - 5/408(10) violations
rest assured, infracting companies have been notified and issued
the pass, to apply for correct approval over next 90 days. Such
companies are in the "word', on-probation until such approval is
granted. Please proceed with caution. As spoken by the Renfleno,

If you take all the words that occur after the "the", you get "Quantum activity alert QND messaging pass word Renfleno"

If you take the letters in front of the extra double letters in Ray's email, you get "CANYOUHELP"

Lastly wee have an interesting final sentence in his letters:

“het eyk si medial plux”.
This is translated to:THE KEY IS "ALL MIXED UP"

So once again into QND we go and into the message log file system. Which is a pain in the @$$!
