Cyst Information
Lets start with the definition of a cyst. According to my dear friend Webster, cyst is defined as a closed sac having a distict membrane and developing abnormally in a cavity or structure in the body. I have experience with cysts. I remove them often manually becuase my cows have urinary tract infections. There are many techniques used in the removing of cysts. One is surgery. Well, you know we don't have that much money. For every cyst, it costs about $60 to remove it. So I choose the other method. This is to remove it manually.
Step one: Wash your hands.
Step two: Be sure to wear gloves if you don't want to get blood all over your hands. (Do you know why Michael Jackson wears gloves? This trend was started by me when he came over to my house to remove cysts.)
Step three: GENTLY insert your washed, gloved hand into the cow. If you don't know where to insert it, well, that's another story.
Step four: Feel around until you find a soft, squishy, round bag. This is the cyst.
Step five: Carefully tear the cyst so that it doesn't break.
Step six: Hold onto the cyst and pull it out.
Step seven: Feed to cows for extra nurishment.
