Living on the island of Jersey, a member of the Channel Islands, situated
in the English channel, we tend to get a lot of interesting fungi from
Europe. Our warm climate and warmer than average winters, allow for the
slightly more tropical variety we sometimes get. Here are some photos I have
taken of Jersey found fungi. The photos are all in 640 x 480 pixels for a
faster display on the internet, however the drawback is that picture quality
is reduced. Saying that, there are some quality photos I am very pleased
with.
If you can positively identify
any of the fungi from the photos, could you email me from the link below, as
I am currently building a database of photos based on genus very
soon. This should make the photo gallery easier to use and speed up the
loading process. Thanks to all of you who have emailed me so far. The
identifications have been very similar and encouraging, but keep your ideas
coming in!
