VEHICLES USED ON MISSIONS

This is the mobile commando, a two seated 4WD car driven by a backup. It’s paired with a labor during missions. Standard equipments includes a radio, a loud speaker, and a powerful light beam for night operation. The vehicle design is different between the original and alternate universe.

A labor carrier (as seen on Ingram’s right side) is necessary to deliver it to the crime scene. This way the labor won’t have to walk long distance and waste its battery. These carriers are also equipped with spare battery in case the labor needs to be recharged in the middle of a long mission. The carriers have different designs throughout the anime series.

Captains use another vehicle, its basically a regular police car. Police standard equipments includes a radio.

SPECIAL VEHICLE UNIFORMS

Safety is necessary for a patrol labor pilot, so a helmet is provided to protect the pilot’s head from sudden impact. Of course, its not comfortable to wear when you have toothache. ^_^

A radio head-set is also attached for communicating with the backup.

A backup wears special cap with radio head-set attached to it. It has direct connection to the respective labor pilot.

Special Vehicle officers wear uniforms to separate them from regular police. Men and women uniforms are alike. I wonder what size Hiromi’s wearing. ^_^

GUNS AND RIFLES

The M31 RS Rifle is the standard weapon for a labor team, which consist of a forward and a backup.

The captains are allowed to use SIG/SAUER P210 hand gun. BTW, Gotoh mentioned that Shinobu is pretty good with this weapon.

The only SV2 member that uses the M1911A1 is Kanuka. According to Captain Gotoh, this is actually a standard military weapon.

Occasionally, Hiromi uses an anti-tank rifle when working on special missions. Actually I only saw him using it twice, in the first and second movie. I managed to get a rather blurry picture of it but I don’t know what type the gun is. You can contact me if you know what it is.
