Scenario

The Year is 2010. Many of Singapore's main food import sources (e.g. Malaysia, Thailand & China) have been hit by the bird flu and floods, resulting in an acute lack of animal and vegetable imports. Singaporeans had to depend on  stocks of canned and frozen food for survival, and the Government decided that 'enough is enough'.

The Government has big plans to transform Pulau Ubin into one big island specialising in Genetically Modified (GM) Food production. This would ensure long term food sustainability for Singaporeans, with the potential of much health and economic benefits. Yet at the same time, the Government recognises that there is much opposition against GM foods amongst some members of the Singapore public. Therein lies the Government's big headache and dillemma...

To gather Singapore's feedback, the Government has launched
a new campaign, entitled 'Singapore's Quest for Real Food'. Concerned groups in Singapore are encouraged to form teams of 5, and to submit their concerns and recommendations to the Government as feedback for their decision making.

This is your chance to make your voice heard.
