The Elves, Children of Aria

Elves: Ty-li a'Faran te'Ly-an, Anwar Acacia

The elves were the first creatures created in Tharia. They are usually stereotyped as wise, and all knowing, as well as fine soldiers, and uncorrupted.

Religion: The elves as far as their beliefs go, believe in what is reffered to as Iero. They believe that once upon a time there was nothing but Garma the Goddess. She created two daughters, who to some extent, are worshiped by the elves. It is thought that the elves are the children of Aria, Goddess of Light.

General: The have extremely good health, and are immortal unless killed by the blade of an enemy. They have a very strong belief in destiny and that an Enemy is an elve's twin demon. They have extremely good senses, and prefer to keep to themeselves.

Brief History: According to Iero, the Elves were the first children created, made by the lovely Goddess Aria to protect her lovely land. They lived and prospered, making homes in the forest regions to protect them for their all knowing Goddess. For years they coexisted with the Demis. The races never really met, but they lived in peace. When the humans came and began destroying the forests, the elves moved to the south to avoid their harmful ways. They made their homes on the Miquila River, where they currently live today in Govannen.
Relations:

/Humans/The elves are very disgusted with the human race, and believe that they brought downfall and shame upon Aria and Vesi. They rarely offer aid to the warlike humans, and are extremely hostile towards them, which in the case of the elves, is very bizarre.

/Demi/For the most part, they believed the Demi were their partners, as the Children of Vesi. They weren't very friendly, and the elves have somewhat of a regret for not saving the race when the humans attacked. This adds more to the human hatred fire. They traded with the Demi, and for the most part, were fine with them.

Appearence: The elves are known for their fair features, and overall finess. Their bone structures tend to lean towards the wirey side. They are best known for their long slender ears. In general, they are usually taller than other races, and appear more refined. Their heights range from 5'5" to 6'4"

Demi, Children of Vesi

Demi: Mastia Rubuens II

The Demis are fierce, mage warriors, magical and spellbinding.

Religion: The Demis follow a less intricate version of Iero. They believe they were created by Vesi, Goddess of the After Light, not of Evil exactly. For the most part, they had small ceremonies and used their magical ways. They do not take insulting their Goddess lightly, and sometimes tend to be hostile towards the elves because of their belief in Aria as all knowing.

General/Magic: The Demi people are very interesting on a magical level. For one, the Demis can aquire many elements, but Dark and Light cannot coexist. So, the Demis, at birth, are born either with Light or Dark, which is indicated on their ears, with purple tips or pale yellow tips. They are extremely powerful people, yet peaceful, and a bit reclusive.

Brief History: The Demis were the second beings to come to earth according to Iero, but they tend to think they were the first and the elven people want their race first. They lived in Yanti in the west, where they had trade with the elves and made their homes. For many years, the Demi were peaceful and did not bother the newly arrived human species. After the War of the Corrupted, the Demi stayed in Yanti, with not much contact with other races. But after recent events, their species has been killed off, except for the last of the Arora, which in Demi, means, "Moving fowards backwardly." Usually a term for foolish of sluggish people. There is only one Demi left, who seeks revenge with a passion.

Relations:

/Elves/ The Demis coexisted with the elves in a pretty peaceful manner, there were never wars between the two. There was some hostility on the level of Religion, and who was created first as well as questions of superiorty. They had trade, and even a combined army in case of any revolts between the two. Kings of the Demi and Elves were brothers in arms.

/Humans/ In the early ages, there wasn't much contact between the two races. But as humans became greedy, the Demi hated them more and more. This made the humans fear a revolt from these mage "beasts." So, in a suprise attack, they were all murdered. In the last of the Arora, the humans were seen as the the most unpure beings of earth. In Demi, Fireze was made to mean "unpure" or "devil one."

Appearence: The Demi people were of average height, with their well known symbols under the eyes. The demi are born with or develop two symbols on the face, symbolizing what shall be. The symbols are courage/power, sadness/anguish, wisdom, love, purity, and success. The most common are success and love. Also, they have long ears, longer than the elves, with their well known tips explained above. You could never miss a Demi. Their heights range from 5'2" to 5'9"

Imed: Imed is a very amazing power that all Demi possess. When ever a Demi experiences extreme emotion, the magic in their body would transform them into a beast, varying from demi to demi. This is what made the Demi quite dangerous, but because they are in no proximity to others, they are quite alright on their own.

Men: The Corrupted

Humans: Arron Egaruoc, Liang Xi'huan, Eavan Orenda, Tristan Dyor, Triax Larum

Religion: The religions of men differ from others, and it's mainly a melting pot, some based of of Iero. Most do not believe in Aria and Vesi, but they do believe in Garma, Goddess and crown. The legends are regarded as just so, as legends. Unless someone disturbs the balance by uncovering they are real, the world of men are a bunch of disbelievers. They die, thats it.

General: The race of men is quite a arguementative one. They tend to pick fights, and have a knack for taking over lands, and building an Empire. No matter how it is explained, they were the last race to arrive on earth, probably originating in the middle of Tharia, and extending eastward their kingdom. For the most part, they do not have any magical powers, the exception being the white mages of Arcans City, and some freelance mages around. All freelance magic is against the Code of Firense.

Brief History: No matter what religion you follow, the humans were the last creatures made in Tharia. They originated in the middle of Tharia, in present day Arcans. For the most part, they were farming based, and cut down forests to obtain more land and wood for their homes. When the race of men began tresspassing on Elvish lands, the elves fought back. But the humans grew like weeds. When the Demi joined the war, utter chaos was inflicted. This was the War of the Corrupted, also known as the Simedsevle War. The demis and elves did not want any more chaos, so both races retreated, to Govannen and Yanti. Thus began the human conquest.

Relations:

/Elves/ The humans have always seen the elves as snobbish and stuck-up, thinking they own the world. The fiery humans began to take their lands, which started the hostilities. The humans dislike the elves strongly, and always plot to steal the fertile land on the Miqula River, but they have failed.

/Demis/ While the Demi species lived, the humans regarded them as dangerous, and a threat to their prosperity. They thought the Demi were barbaric and uncivilized, and therefore, King Firense took action and killed them all off. Demis=garbadge.

Appearence: Unlike other races, the humans have more rounded and smaller ears. There faces usually consist of sharp features, that vary very much. Their full grown heights can go from 5'3" to 6".
