Things are changing fast in the Horst household as our girls continue to develop from noisy little globs of goo to larger, noisier, faster moving, food-eating globs of goo. Check out all the fun!

Left:
Elle learned early on to sit up on her own.
The consumption of solid food has become a major household event.

Elle shows off her skills with the spoon.

Right:
Malia awaits a delicious serving of pureed chicken and sweet potatoes.
The girls are also learning about important things like 49er games.

Kate teaches Malia how to clap for touchdowns.

Left:
Elle, tailgating in full regalia.
There are (rare) times, however,  that the girls clean up nice for photos.

But mostly the girls spend their time getting goofy, getting messy,  and playing.

Elle and Malia play in their booster seats.
Right:
Malia has designs on tasting the camera, while Elle looks on.
Far Right:
Malia and Elle share the activity center.
One thing the girls both love is their dog.

Muddy gives Elle a wet sloppy lick.
The bath is a big hit too.     Above: Elle, Malia
And of course they love their Mommy.

The girls can also play together!  Typically this involves the mobile Elle attempting to hanai (steal) toys from the stationary Malia.  Above: Malia strikes back!
Dad, of course, is working on getting the girls outdoors.
