Mohammad
Fuad Bin Bebit who hails from Batu Pahat Johore was trained as a
graphic designer at the Mara Institute of Technology Kuala Lumpur and as

SM. La Salle Kota Kinabalu since 1994
Fuad is
known for his unique works which often portray current social issues
which are happening around him in his adopted state.
Besides
reflecting local identity his works also touches on serious social
problem articulating local feeling and sentiment.
Fuad employs acrylic and mixed medium such as the combination of various
waste materials to create a composition of assemblage making the
painting a piece of recycle object, but with concept and beauty.
"Meniti
Arus Wawasan" or "Moving Along the course of Mission" is
one of his paintings which won "selection award" in the state
annual art activity expresses a sepecial massage regarding the taugh
life faced by the poor pupils from the rural parts of the country. In
this painting Fuad conveys his consept symbolicly through the use of
relevent objects and colours.
Fuad seems
to be very much at home in employing such approach and techniques which
invariably becomes the hallmark and identity of his works.
However being a trained graphic designer Fuad also is capable in of
employing various types of mediums and approaches. One of the other
medium he likes besides acrylic is water colour. His water colour and
pen works are just equally fascinating. For such paintings he reverted
to traditional village scences portraying them in great details by
re-enforcing his coloured shapes and form with fine pen lines.
Mohammad Fuad's Work obviously express his idea and concept about art
which he believes should work to fulfil the artist's and the viewer's
expectation and satisfaction.
