I enjoyed the three days to the fullest extent. The travel by the National Coach buses were warm and comfortable. The weather was excellent for outing. On Sunday there was bright sunshine during the whole day. Although I went to the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, the gates were closed at that time and therefore could not enter. But I saw the new pavilion built recently. I talked to people in the villages we visited. They were friendly and were visibly happy to speak with someone from Asia. Those who work in historic places and sites were helpful in giving information. There are lots and lots of other places both historic and sight-seeing in the County that is Nottingham shire. I hope it would be possible to go again some time in the future. Finally, I have no words to express my happiness and thanks to both Dennis and Betty who hosted me during my stay. They saw to it that I felt comfortable and at home. Really, I was more comfortable! The picture above was taken by me sitting in front of the mirror in their guest room! They planned and took me to places so that every moment of my stay was enjoyable. My whole-hearted thanks to them. They like International friendship. So, if you wish, you can write to them. Click on their names above and start writing the e-mail. There is a saying in Tamil - yaam petra inpam peruka ivvaiyakam - Let the world get the enjoyment we had. Thank you for visiting this site. I hope you enjoyed. Naturally, I would like to know your reaction. Thanks to sign my guest book. - s.s. umakanthan
