This is the Cronicle of Karaka

A group of travelers set forth from Beta Prime, in the year 2178, for the adventure of a lifetime. They were hand chosen to colonize Bharjah, a small planet on the out skirts of Beta Quadrant. They approached the edge of the solar system in awe of the newly formed nebula.

It was then they ran into a small problem. The gravitional pull of Beta Cadmium 7 was more then they had bargined for. The deep magnetic field scrambled the ships navigational devices, causing it to pulmmet towrads the surface. Commander Locke pulled the ship up just before impact, controlling the crash a bit. Of the 450 men, woman, and children on board, 310 survived.

The survivors quickly determined that the planet was hostile in nature. There were no apparent water sources. They found that the three suns of the system did not allow for nightfall. The day, which was never ending, reached temperatures above 100 F. The air was 0.5 atmospheres lower than Earth causing breathing problems. The heavy gravity on the planet also caused slow movement.

The planet became divided into four ruling groups:

The Mandians, known as the Scientists of the Planet. They have learned the secrets of the desert world in which they live.

The Seers, known to be the Philosphers, and story tellers of the planet.

The Fosters, known for their medical ability, healers in a sense.

The Over Lords. The Raiders and destroyers of all.

Now there is a new group which has come to the planet. Other ships have crashed over the years, we call the new comers Out Worlders. In time they will either adapt or die like the rest of us.
