I show German Lops under the prefix of Kanichen Stud, although I also occassionally show Angoras and have previously exhibited Netherland Dwarfs in Marten Sable. More recently I bought a pair of Alaskas at Bradford 2003 and am now breeding and showing them with Andrew Jones as a partnership. We show as 'Jones and Padwick'. In total I have been attending shows and exhibiting since 1994.
If I now tell you a little about myself. I am 18 years old; I was voted BRC Junior of the Year in 1999, an award I am most proud of. I am on the National German Lop Committee and am also a Breeder Panel Judge. I am currently on the BRC 1* Panel, but am very close to finishing my criteria for going on the 2* Panel (I just need a few more stewarding signatures). I am happily accepting 1* or CoM judging engagements. I have also judged stock shows for the NGLC and the SLC. I have taken the BRC Rabbit Husbandry Exam and passed with a distinction, I am also a qualified animal microchipper!
On this site I have decided not to go into detail on how to keep rabbits or their health and husbandry, I think there are alot of sites that do that well without me repeating the information. If however you do have any queries on rabbit health or husbandry please feel free to contact me for advice.
