At the Bradford Championship Show I decided to purchase a breeding pair of Alaskas from Ron Credland.
I showed both the buck and the doe briefly, and had a few successes, such as a few runner up best furs with the doe.
I have now bred from Eddie and Marie (as I named my pair, in tribute to the people that helped me get them, many thanks.) Pictures of their offspring are soon to come, along with the Alaska standard.
These rabbits are hilarious to watch and great characters. They race back and forth, are very inquisitive and very friendly to. They can be quite cuddly as well, but they are very strong so I wouldn't recommend them for children. |
