Structure of The Red Kaganate Association
who we are -- our Members, Goals, Rules, Procedures . . .
The Red Kaganate Web Site is here as a Resource for all those interested in East European, Central and West Asian Medieval and Ancient History. While focusing on the practical reenactment of the Red Kaganate period (the "medieval" period -- between the rise of the "Great Turk" Kaganate and the death of the first Moghul and last Timurid ruler), the Web site will not be limited to this period or to practical reenactment.
The Red Kaganate Association functions as a sub-group within those Reenactment clubs that permit this (as, for example, a Household in the SCA). Those participating in events held by other reenactment clubs, may identify as members of the Red Kaganate if they share the interests espoused by this Association and are following the rules and goals of this Association, as discussed in the materials below.
The Red Kaganate Association functions as an independent Reenactment club, holding its own events according to its own rules and regulations.
The materials at this section include the rules and regulations of the Association, as well as information meant to introduce the reader to who we are and what we do.
