| 1 pkg. refrigerated pie crusts 1 1/2 teaspoons Apple Pie Spice 8 cups thinly sliced peeled apples | 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1 tablespoon butter |
| I recommend using Granny Smith apples; however, if you like a sweeter pie, use Jonathan, MacIntosh, Stayman-Winesap, or Jonagold cooking apples. After 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover edge of crust with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. | |
| 1. Preheat oven to 400�F. Prepare pie crusts as directed on package for two-crust pie using 9-inch pie plate. 2. Mix sugar, flour and apple pie spice in small bowl. Sprinkle over apples in large bowl; toss to coat well. Spoon into pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Top with second pie crust. Seal and flute edge. Cut small slits in top crust. Brush crust with egg wash and sprinkle with additional sugar, if desired. 3. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack. | |

| Easy Chocolate Pie |
| 1 pkg. of instant pudding (any flavor you desire) All ready made gramh cracker pie crust. |

| 1. Follow directions according to pudding package. 2. Add to pie crust. 3. Decorate top with whip cream. 4. Put in freezer up to one hour before serving. |

| Pumpkin Pie | |
| Pastry for 9-inch pie crust: 2 eggs, well beaten 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar, packed 2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 tablespoon flour | 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk |

| 1. Preheat oven to 425�F. Line 9-inch pie plate with pie crust. 2. Mix eggs, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, flour and salt in medium bowl until smooth. Stir in pumpkin and gradually add evaporated milk, mixing well. Pour into pie crust. 3. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350�F and continue baking 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. Garnish with whipped cream sprinkled with extra pumpkin pie spice if desired. Store covered in refrigerator. | |

| Devil's Food Cake | |
| 1/2 cup of shortening 1 1/4 cup of granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 cup of boiling water 1/2 cup of hershey's cocoa | 1 3/4 cups of cake flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla |
| Cake flour can be subsituted with 2 cups of all purpose flour | |
| 1. Preheat oven to 350, grease and flour cake pan(s). 2. Cream shortening and add sugar. 3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. 4. Add the rest of the ingreditants, then beat vigorously until smooth. 5.Pour into greased, floured pans and bake 30 to 35 minutes. | |
