THE APOCOLYPSE IS HERE... Nine high schoolers in the draft, including ALL FIVE FIRST-TEAM ALL-AMERICANS
MOCK DRAFT#1 Indiana v. #8 Boston Not only is Ricky Davis showing up for practice, but is actually doing something in the games. Celtics will need much more help than that Pick: Pacers
#2 New Jersey v. #7 New York Marquee matchup between point guards that were traded for each other a few years back. Extra bonus for the Knicks is having their fans follow them to the Meadowlands. The Nets limped to the finish line so I'm going with the upset.Pick: Knicks
#3 Detroit v. #6 Milwaukee Bucks only had to be either the Hornets, Cavs, or Raptors to get a #4 seed, and managed to blow them all and now plays arguably the best team in the East. But just when you give up on them, the Bucks pull a shocker. Look for the them to steal a win in Detroit before Detroit wakes up and takes the series in six. Pick: Pistons
#4 Miami v. #5 New Orleans This series will be buried deep on cable. Heat with Dwayne Wade surged down the stretch while the Hornets are injury riddled as usual.Pick: Heat.#1 Minnesota v. #8 Denver I'd say this is the year the T-Wolves finally win a first round series, although Carmelo and Company will be a tougher out than expected Pick: Wolves
#2 LA Lakers v. #7 Houston The Shaq/Yao rivalry, playoff edition. Pick: Lakers
#3 San Antonio v. #6 Memphis Association playoffs are never kind for newbies, SA's reward will be the revenged-minded Lakers in Round 2. Pick: Spurs
#4 Sacramento v. #5 Dallas Think Milwaukee took the gas pipe??? Sac-Town only had to beat Golden State to win the division and blew it. Will Dallas win the series?? Probably not. Will the take the wind out of the Kings so they struggle in Round 2?? PossiblyPick: Kings| POINTS | ASSISTS | REBOUNDS | BLOCKS | STEALS |
