When we picked up Johann and Steven at the airport in Sinop, I was very excited.
I knew it would be nice, but I could have never imagined that it could be such nice.
Following are some photos of our partners stay in Sinop from 22nd to 25th January 2005.
Although we worked very hard on the application form, we still had time to enjoy our new
friends’ stay in Sinop. I think, they enjoyed it very much, too. Below a walk in the streets
of Sinop.
We visited the mayor of Sinop, who was very happy that for the first time a school
from Sinop is going to participate in a Comenius Project. Below are Johann (left)
and Steven (right) with our mayor of Sinop.
All our turkish friends welcomed Steven and Johann. It was as if we knew each other since many years.
We also visited some local shops.
And of course we visited the meeting place for turkish teachers “Öğretmen Evi” (Teachers Home)
Last but not least, a picture of a short music concert.
