Following on the heels of the 1st District Congressional Culture of Peace Training, Kaakbay is in the process of presenting the project design and proposal for this event to the District Office of Congressman Arthur Y. Pingoy, Jr. It is hoped that the honorable congressman will be as receptive to the idea of helping to establish a well-organized and well-spread group of young peace advocates in his area of jurisdiction. Kaakbay shall invite the SK Chairmen of each barangay found in each municipality in the district and the leaders of non-government youth organizations therein and shall yet again pass on the culture of peace training to them. Again, seven (7) youth trainors will be fielded by the Technical Program Team concerned to facilitate the activity and sixty (60) participants from Koronadal City, Lake Sebu, Sto. Ni�o, Surallah, Norala, Tantangan, T'Boli, and Batotitik shall be choosen by both Congressional District Office and Kaakbay's Technical Program Team and invited to undergo the training.
