With the support and blessings of Congressman Gregorio T. Ipong, this activity shall be the first endeavor of KAAKBAY in conducting the COP training outside the SOCSKSARGEN area. This activity shall invite the SK Chairmen of each barangay found in each municipality in the city and their leading councilor, as well as the leading youth figures therein. The basis for our entry into Digos is because of its proximity to General Santos, which is the base of operations of KAAKBAY and its Culture of Peace Program. We believe that the youth of the Davao provinces are still unfamiliar with the concept of the culture of peace. It is high time for them to experience it.
