Offering a variety
of classes designed to meet students' personal interests and professional
perspectives, the Nutrition program prepares its enrollees for the growing
job market and healthier life through the offering of high-quality,
informative and technical education.
Benedictine University considers its program as a future-oriented investment
that will meet foreseen trends of the job market. "The job growth
is predicted to continue to increase for at least next five years,"
explained Julie Davis, nutrition advising coordinator and assistant
professor of Nutrition; adding that the demands for qualified nutritionists
will come from nursing homes, the food industry, the government, the
field of sports nutrition and clinics.
