Banana Bread

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
1½ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 bananas, mashed

Directions

Preheat oven to 325°F.

In a medium bowl, mix butter and sugar, beat in eggs until light and creamy.

Mash bananas in separate bowl. Mix in mashed bananas to the liquid.

Add flour and baking soda to the mixture.

Pour the batter to the loaf pan. Bake about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out cleanly.

My Comments

This is a very good recipe. I usually add a cup of berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, or dried cranberries.
In my experience, 50 minutes is not enough, normally it takes about a hour and 10 minutes. You can always use toothpick to test it at the end.
