Jeju Teddy Bear Museum, Korea's first teddy bear museum, opened on April 24, 2001. It contains two galleries, a museum garden, and a museum gift shop.

    The first-floor gallery houses eleven fascinating displays, each focused on a different theme from historical events of the 20th century. In each set, teddy bears are featured as main characters, so children can learn historical events with great fun. Early events include The Sinking of the Titanic, and Movies of Charlie Chaplin. Other sets are entitled The Invention of Television, The Second World War, and The Establishment of the Walt Disney company. You can also enjoy later historic events such as The Apollo Landing on the Moon, The Unification of Germany, and The Handover of Hong Kong to China.

    The second-floor gallery features teddy bear fashion shows around the world. It displays the Louis Vuitton Teddy Bear, the world's most expensive teddy bear, and the Marilyn Monroe Teddy Bear. There is even a teddy bear dressed as a woman diver of Jeju-do (one of the island's three famous symbols) posed against scenic Jeju-do seascapes.




    Museum Garden-Teddy's Forest

Out side of galleries there is museum garden, Teddy's Forest. You can take pictures with the cuddly toys walking around the museum garden.
