Hi~!! *^^* My name is Junghyo Byun. I am a junior at Ewha Womans University. My first major is Chinese Language & Literature and second one is Professional English.

     I like surfing the web, swimming, eating delicious food with my friends, and being lazy on a weekend.^^ I like traveling too. Until now, I��ve visited China, Japan, and the United States. As for my future plan, I'm planning to go to Canada in July.

     Sometimes, I feel I��ve been locked up in a cage, so I want to see a wider world.^^ I hope to be a person who can communicate with people heart to heart, and to be a world citizen who is willing to provide others with love. Therefore, I do believe that traveling and studying in abroad will bring me closer to my wish.

     Last year I went to Beijing, China to study Chinese more intensively. At that time, I learned how to draw Chinese painting. It was really fun and helpful to understand Chinese culture.

    The more I travel abroad, the more I come to realize where I came from. When I bought a map of China for my journey to Beijing I found that Korea looked like a part of China, because Korea is very small contrary to China. At that time, I thought about the strenuous efforts of my ancestors to keep Korea independent and the importance of relationship between China and Korea.

    I spent almost 8 months in China, had a glimpse of Chinese people and culture, and was surprised with her variety as well as development. My interests in Chinese language and literature were expanded into the Chinese society and international affairs. I would like to acquire a kind of deep understanding of political relationship between China and Korea.

    I used subject directories to find information related to my website theme. Open Directory was most useful to me in finding information related to the theme of my website, Teddy Bear. Some academic subject directories like 'Academic Info' do not have suitable category for Teddy Bear. On the other hand, Open Directory has 'Recreation' category. Moreover, it has category for Kids which was very useful for my website, because I could find teddy bear poetry in this category. In addition, with using various modifiers I can find information more easily in Open Directory. And, Open Directory is user-friendlier. At the bottom of the search results page, several search engines are linked. As users click on the next engine link, search terms go to that search engine, so you don��t need to type search terms again.
