�� Many of bears are made from real fur. Maybe your teddy is too. Below are several things to remember when caring for your little friend.
1. Don't put him in a cedar chest for safekeeping or let him sit near a smoky stove. Real fur keeps odors and is difficult to clean.
2. Avoid leaving him in bright light, as light can cause fur to oxidize and change color.
3. Never store him in a plastic bag. (Besides suffocating him, it is not good for his hide!)
4. Do not leave him near heat. His fur keeps him warm enough and will dry out.
5. Should a portion of him become damp, leave him out to dry away from heat. Remember, never comb or brush wet fur! Even when he's dry, it's best to style him with your fingers.
