Yaki was born in Tel Aviv, Israel (where we are now).  But he spent lots o' time in the U.S. (California NewYork in the Plymouth Duster) while he was growing up, so his English is far superior to what Julie's Hebrew will ever be. And thank goodness he has a lot more computer sense (computer science at the Technion) than she has ... otherwise several problems associated with getting things on this page to work may not have been overcome ... and more business sense (M.B.A. at Tel Aviv University) than Julie has or we might go broke with her spending too much time on-line.  Julie grew up in Oklahoma, and Colorado (and California as a baby but I suppose that doesn't count).  Went to University at the University of Oklahoma (studied Linguistics ... don't ask).  Wanted to see the world outside of the U.S.A. and her first chance was in Berlin, so up she went with her two suitcases. Two years later she landed in Calgary for grad school. A cold-hater like her barely survived those two looooong icy freeze-yer-butt-off winters.  Canada was followed by a trans-Atlantic flight to Israel (along with those two suitcases).  Aahhh, sunny WARM Tel Aviv!!!! (Canada, eat your heart out!)  Eventually we fell in love and decided to get married ... which we did in January of this year, 1998.  Yaki is building his company with his two partners and Julie is teaching English while searching for something more permanent.  In our spare time we like to get out of the weekly cleaning as much as possible in order to play with our dog and go on road trips around Israel.  Since the birth of our babies in March of 1999, we have been pretty busy 'just' being parents. Brit and Zach are developing new skills every day it seems. They both amaze us with how well they've progressed from since their early start into the world - 3 months early! Who would have thought that those 2 pound bony little toothpicks would have become these pudgy round bear cubs! We really are so very proud of them.
