THE EXTREME MAKEOVER AND THE FALSE MODEL OF BEAUTY
The television has shown the most beautiful people all time and this has been making a fake model of beauty. If you don't have a similar appearance on the TV or movie stars, the people say that you are an ugly person. Nowadays, the problem is the self-esteem of person and their beliefs. The young people believe in all things that it watch on television.
The television is a business and its final objective is to show products and convince the people to buy them. The extreme makeover programs and their fashion marketing are not the exception. While the TV shows the transformation of persons and how the surgery changes the life of them, the surgeon shows their services. These kinds of programs are an excellent window for all cosmetic surgery services because the people can watch the final result of procedures.
However, the producers never show the difficulties and problems with the surgeries used in these transformations. Some times, the people have health problems during and after the surgery with disastrous consequences. For example, many people in Colombia have died by infection complication before a liposuction treatment. This kind of programs should advise about real risk of cosmetic surgery and clarify other options to improve the self-esteem different to surgeries.
A medical concept will be useful before to make a decision about of extreme makeover. The surgeries are not for all people and probably only a therapy with a psychologist will be helpful to solve your self-image problems.
A final tip: If other people say that you need a cosmetic surgery to accept, don't worry, change your friends not your appearance and be happy!

THE LIFE IS IN COLORS...
Since remote ages, the colors have been related to different aspects of the human life. They affect our emotions, mind and body. It isn't in vain that when somebody is happy he says: "I see life in pink". In the same way, when we are sad we see that everything is dark. We also use different expressions to refer to a mood state: to see it black, to be red of wrath, green of envy. Life comes in colors, and the people use their characteristics for several purposes.
On a world level, the colors have the same meaning. Red for anger, warning and love; white for peace; green for hope; black for mourning. However, each culture gives a bigger or smaller importance than others do.
Eastern people include colors in very important activities for them. Millenary siences like Yoga and martial arts are based on the meaning of the colors. In the yoga each chakra is related with a different color, depending on the level of the person. the same occurs with Taekwondo and Judo where the belt on a specific color represents the physic and mental state of the person.
In the other hand, for Western world people colors represent things like vogue, advertising, maybe esoterism and common things. I don't think it's bad though. It justs sets the differences between cultures and life style.

HOW TO PROTECT THE OZONE LAYER
One of the most important layers in the atmosphere is the stratosphere, because without this the life on earth could not exist. The stratosphere helps our skin to keep the uv-radiation off . This radiation causes irreparable damages, it produces skin cancer and even death.
The stratosphere contains a gas named ozone O3 that absorbs the radiation of the sun in a couple of reactions in the following way:
The ozone is a bond of three atoms of oxygen and when it absorbs the uv-radiation of the sun, it degrades itself into a molecule of oxygen O2 (this is a big part of the air that we breath) and an atom of oxygen free. This free atom hits another ozone molecule to make more molecules of oxygen. On the other side, the opposite reaction happens too, I mean from the oxygen we get ozone. This is when a couple of oxygen molecules absorb the radiation of the sun, splitting them into individual atoms that hit other molecules of oxygen and turn them back to molecules of ozone.
The first reaction described before is quite as hard as the second, I want to say both reactions happen, but the first needs more energy of the radiation to become. This is good because it keeps the stratosphere in a perfect concentration of ozone to protect us. But there is a problem with, chemical products that are done by human like the gas in the freezers, aerosols, disinfectants and cleaners help the first reaction, doing that it happens with less energy, turned the ozone into oxygen and letting that the radiation enter through the stratosphere, making the sun rays more dangerous. If it continues soon we won't be able to go out because the sun will kill us.
