Apes Signings

London Evening Standard, January 15th, 2005 'Twins Basil!!'...

Well not quite however Christmas Ape have been thought to have put a
rubber stamp on the double swoop of Joe, and Jordan Miller. The brothers
impressed Apes' captain Block, and the big banana in a few runouts during
the summer season of 2004. Joe has now completed his senior year in high
school, while Jordan has been putting in star turns for his club in the
Pochinos.

Block, and coaching staff feel that the pair were ready to become members
of the senior squad for this years onslaught for the title.

GSI Company Website, January 22nd, 2005 'Rich to Richer'...

Apes' Super striker 'Lazer' Marc Rich was a huge influence in the signing
of former Fogdog stopper Chris Watkins.
Marc is a long-time friend of Watkins, known by his fans as 'WATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTKINS', and admirer of his defensive prowess.
After the departure of heart throb Bonnie Young, on international duty,
and Chad '210' Droz, it was known that the Apes would be left a little
limp at the back.

Block and staff have taken a large step towards remedying this with the
signing of Watkins to a long term deal.

Liverpool Evening Echo, March 2nd, 2005 'Here today, Here Tomorrow!'...

Christmas Ape, and Real Drinkers have entered into the first ever loan
deal in Teasa history just over a year after breaking history by signing
the first female to a beer related professional contract the Apes have
shown they are not limited by conventional transfers with their latest
acquisition.

Eddie Keane has been eager to move to a squad that he feels has the
potential to win honours as he enters the peek of his playing career, and he feels he's found a home with Teasa rivals Christmas Ape, albeit
eventually!

Real Drinkers have negotiated to retain the player's services until the
summer campaign to allow them time to find a suitable replacement.

9/29/04

We start off the fall season with a spate of new signings for this season.  We'd like to welcome Craig Gillan to the team.  He brings electrifying pace and great hair.

6/4/04

There are no new signings for the beginning of the season as the Apes look to rebound from their worst league position since the infamous Brian Greenlee was player/manager.  After he stepped down to concentrate on his playing responsibilities the team quickly rounded back into form and ran off 4 titles in the span of 8 seasons.  More information on signings will appear here when they happen.  Always check with christmasape.com for the latest news on your favorite TEASA League team.
