Welcome to JTAT, Japanese Teachers Association of Texas !!

The JTAT is a non-profit and tax exempt organization. Its missions are to promote interest in Japanese Language and Culture education at all levels in the State of Texas, to foster research and study in the field, to promote a network for exchanging information and instructional materials, to establish and maintain a resource through which teachers throughout the world and teachers in America may develop and benefit, to provide teachers and scholars with professional opportunities for educational growth of the membership in the State of Texas, and to make a contribution both to Japan and to the U.S through teaching and learning of the Japanese Language and Culture.

• Currently we have over 46 members in this association.
• We have our annual meeting during TFLA fall conference 2007 in San Antonio.
