Along comes John Kerry who eats, shoots and leaves.
How wonderful it is that John Kerry
Has revealed that he is so wary
Of those chasing lad-ies
Upstairs or downstairs in their undies.
And poisoning the neighbor's cats,
Is not akin to being kind to rats.
So takin' both sides of an issue
Ensures he's got something to pursue.
(Of course he will be sure
that the lad-ies and cats will get a cure
Since they are challenged physically
Or chemically.)
He rides his bike,
Helmet and all, youth like,
To show his life style
And goes the extra mile.
If he had training wheels,
To protect against sometime spills.
When a-goin cross country on a whim,
Wouldn't it be better for him.
As a member of Congress he's insured
By policies that will cover him if injured.
But insurance doesn't take away the pain,
Of snide comments or the shame.
If his wife gave him the key
To the family suv
He wouldn't have to travel
In such a style to unravel.
But then he might
Have to answer right
The difficult question about whether
He has a sports utility vehicle, whatever.
Or worse yet, if he
And his wife's money tree
Sometimes intermingle.
It's more than coins you hear a-jingle.
When the need arises, he can be a free spender
Without help from the opposite gender.
(As when he put up the family manse,
Was he really taking such a chance?)
If the catsup queen for the moment refuses
To admit how much she pays in taxes,
Saying it would cause her children discomfort
To admit they depend on her for support.
For now he's just a Congressional bore.
A little rich boy, who once was poor,
Who has always wanted a bigger house
In which to entertain his newest spouse.
Kerry's just discovered
He's got a little Jewish blood,
But marriage doesn't count
Regardless of the amount.
Not unlike madam no-lights' family tree
(Educated as a historian with advanced degree),
Never knew about happenings in the woodpile,
Until politics and fund raising became their style.
Oh what a good Catholic he is thought to be,
Faithfully practicing on bended knee.
Yet, if they throw him out as a non-practitioner,
He can always fall back on the family carpenter.
Now that he is the putative nominee
Bearing the democrat standard, he
Can enfold himself in all the platitudes
As the populace he confuses.
If elected, he will be
On both sides of any issue decidedly
Testing which way the wind's a-blowing
Before his liberal side's a-showing.
Being the party's choice as best
In a nine stooges contest.
"Does this qualify him to be
the President for you and me?"
John Kerry eats, shoots and leaves.
