Testing for Echo...
Hello? Anybody?
HALL-O-O-O....is there anybody out there?

That is what this section of my website is about. Test for echo is the driving force for everybody, yet very few ever realize it. It is ingrained in our subconscience, although we fail to recognize it. Everybody needs an "echo," some affirmation, to know they're not alone. Sometimes that can be life's most precious discovery -- somebody out there who feels the way you do. You ask yourself, "Am I crazy?", "Am I weird?",  "Am I different?", and you need some affirmation: the echo. While the answer to these questions may be "Yes!," it is good to know that you are not the only one. You are not alone...

We have all had our moments in life when we see or hear something that we can not believe, and we are amazed at what we have witnessed. For that reason, sometime we need to look at things in life, and ask ourselves, "Excuse me- doesn't anyone else think this is weird?" That is Tefe at work, even though you probably didn't realize it.

Sometimes we see an irony in life, and we immediately wonder, "What were they thinking?" Take for example, the Ford Excursion, a vehicle that was built one foot longer than the average parking spot, and which is barely garagable. It makes you wonder what the Ford executives were smoking when this concept was brought up.
Oscar Wild once wrote, "I can resist anything except tempation." Well, really, what else is there to resist?  Then there are the places which exist, but where no one lives - a ghost town. Not necessarily a place devoid of human life, but rather a place devoid of human activity, where people don't
carpe diem, or have a joie de vivre.  Hence a quote from Gertrude Stein, "We went there -- but there was no there there."

Other times, we see things that are so stupid that we are dumbfounded at what we have witnessed. We could ask what they were thinking, but we already know the answer: they weren't.  It's no secret that intelligence has become a liability in the United States. We live in an era and a time when calling someone an Einstein is considered to be an insult. America has never been what one would call high-brow, but these days it seems as if our collective cranial ridge is sloping like the shoulders of the bar-boy at the Kennedy Compound. Morons are out there in force, making left hand turns from right hand lanes, trying to pay for drive-through tacos with a check, calling 411 to get the number for information, wondering what time their 7 PM flight leaves, and thinking that geneology is when Barbara Eden goes to visit her OB Gyn. If you don't live in a cave, then you know what I am talking about. I see things like this daily and wonder, "Is it just me, or does anyone else think this is strange."

Of course, the question could also be, "Is it me, or does anyone else think this strange."
