West Coast Wine Page (My Vineyard Picks)

I have picked what I think are the leading producers of high quality wines on the west coast.  While the list isn't comprehensive it does provide a glimpse into some of the best less known producers (which specific focus on the Russian River Valley). Please feel free to forward comments or suggestions to [email protected] or input your thoughts in my guestbook.
Pinot Noir:
*
Rochioli - this family run winery consistently produces some of the best pinot noir in burgundian fashion.   Call them to get on the mailing list now for their reserve wines as the waiting list is now about 3 years or stop in at their winery to taste their estate bottlings.  Also a great picnic spot.
*
Dehlinger - Tom Dehlinger runs the show here with the limited production of rich full bodied pinot noirs.  The estate is supposedly a unique blend of Old World and New World philosophy and practice with a strong belief in the influence of terroir.  But we will have to take this one on rumor as he doesn't allow visitors.
*
Brogan - This limited production label started in 1998 by Margi Wierenga, daughter of Burt Williams of William Selyem is off to a fast start.  All the wine is currently produced out of a garage but the results are outstanding.
