In the Background the School Director Mr. Bronisław Piekarski- Mr. Piekarski, from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean I wish to thank you. Thank you for just being a human. At the time that all the local communist world was against my father and against my family. You gave us sisters and me my brother no political discrimination. You helped us to graduate. Thank you for all the nights I spent sleeping in school, because the school activities were longer, I do remember the extra dinner, or extra money too. We know you were pressured, but you didn’t give up your human face for the Communists
